UK Monowheel Team Update

I've been very quiet here lately. Have no fear, we're not loosing interest! (quite the opposite). All my time's been spent refining design details for a new combined effort by UK Monowheel Team that we've christened - WarHorse. It's an evolution of the Silver one with all the lessons learnt about drive & handling - based on our own experiences & others within the association (especially al the success demonstrated by Tom). Gonna be posh (with a lot less weight & much lower parts count). Main frame will be twin carbon fibre plates with hard-points moulded in for the attachments. Just about sorted all the major decisions & about to start a mock-up to check size & comfort (before committing )

Tom Anable A.T Monowheels... Bang to Rights photos Yorkshire Autodrome 20/10/13

The bike was sick running with a lean misfire and i was sick with man flu from my gran haha but the show must go on...

Felt like the engine was going to stall at 30mph then at 35mph i was getting bursts of acceleration that were trying to throw me over the back.

Scary moment when my left foot peg got pinned to the ground by my boot buckle when i shut off at 45mph and it held the wheel tilted over at a 20 degree angle so i had to tilt out the opposite way till i figured out what happened.

British Monowheel Association Meeting Elvington Airfield 21/10/2013

Was wet wet wet too wet to run past 35mph although we did see a lawnmower go past at around 90mph!!!
Tom Anable and Nick Zglobis of A.T Monowheels had a good play about tho with the uk monowheel team thanks to straightliners hopefully everyones back there on the 11th of November for another day!

In 1948 Rollie Free stripped down to wearing only a Speedo bathing suit, a shower cap, and a pair of borrowed sneakers taking the Motorcycle Landspeed Record to 150.313 mph... In 2013 Tom Anable stripped half naked in a field and made someone take pictures of him...
